MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WTVF) — Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler was in Memphis this week for the opening of a new home for abused or neglected girls.

Tyler was in Memphis Monday for the opening of Janie’s House, named after the band’s 1989 hit song “Janie’s Got a Gun.”

CBS News reports that Janie's House is located at Youth Villages in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Janie's House will be home to 14 girls at a time, a total of about 26 to 30 a year, and will provide support and therapy for abuse victims.

According to Memphis affiliate WREG, the fund has raised about $4.5 million for Youth Villages, which operates in 16 states, since it was founded in 2015.
