NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A search is underway for a man who police say ran off during a standoff north of Nashville.

Metro Nashville police officials have not released the suspect’s name, but investigators said he has a warrant out for felony aggravated assault.

Officers were called to a home on Leondale Terrace around 11 p.m. Sunday. About 20 SWAT members also responded and two robots were also sent inside the home.

Police believe the suspect was inside at some point and sneaked out the back. They said he had security cameras set up outside the home, so he could have seen when they were coming.

According to investigators, he’s possibly armed. Anyone with information should contact police at 615-74-CRIME.
