Alabama double murder suspect arrested in Nashville, 17 guns found in home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A double murder suspect wanted out of Alabama was arrested in Nashville Thursday.

According to Metro Nashville police, MNPD detectives who were assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested the suspect, Tyrone Johnson, 37, at his home on Flintlock Court.

Johnson is charged in a March 27 shooting in a nightclub parking lot in Huntsville, Alabama, which resulted in the deaths of two men.

In searching Johnson's home on Flintlock Court, MNPD says they found 17 guns and two sets of body armor. They also found thousands of rounds of ammunition and gang paraphernalia.

Johnson is being held as a fugitive from Alabama on a $500,000 bond.
