It's out with tradition and in with some new, hip ways to countdown to Christmas. Grocery store chain Aldi is debuting wine and cheese advent calendars this holiday season.
The supermarket chain debuted the calendars in the United Kingdom last year and is bringing the to the United States this year.
The cheese calendar will feature 24 imported mini cheeses, including cheedar, gouda, edam, and more.
The wine calendar will offer 24 mini bottles of red, white, rose, and bubbles options. Altogether, the calendar contains a total of about six bottles of wine.
There are several Aldi stores in Middle Tennessee, including locations in Gallatin, Mt. Juliet, Madison, and East, West, and South Nashville.
The calendars are set to be released on November 7th.
