NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Hundreds attended "End Slavery Tennessee’s" annual luncheon Tuesday, and Grammy Award winning artist Alison Krauss was the guest speaker.

EST is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive aftercare to Tennessee human trafficking survivors and working to make systemic changes needed in the state.

Human Trafficking has become far more common in Tennessee than many people realize.

The third annual fund-raising luncheon was held in the Music City Center Tuesday morning.

Krauss spoke on the issue of slavery in Tennessee, and how glad she was to be in attendance.

“We live in a time where atrocity is defined by arguing freedom against freedom, and I can’t begin to tell you the privilege I feel to be in the presence of people, whose mission is to rescue and deliver those who’s choices have been stolen from them,” said Krauss.

At "End Slavery Tennessee," volunteers work directly with victims to get their lives back on track.
