MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — An Amazon delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in Murfreesboro, and the suspects are still on the run.
Murfreesboro Police say two men stole the woman's van full of packages Monday afternoon around 1:18 p.m. She was delivering a package near Hawkins Avenue and Minor Street around when the men pointed a gun at her and carjacked her, according to police
The suspects were wearing all black with masks covering their faces. The driver was not injured.
The van, subcontracted through Diversified Logistics Solutions, was found abandoned on Fourth Ave. a short time later. Police believe the men loaded a total of 73 packages into a large, black SUV with tinted windows after ditching the van, leaving behind five packages.
