The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has cancelled an Amber Alert for 3-year-old girl whom they said was kidnapped from at gunpoint from a Memphis home.
The alert was issued for Tremiyah Rainer. Officials said she was taken by her by her non-custodial father, Ladarrius Johnson.
The girl was found around 3:40 p.m. Monday, and the suspect, her father, was taken into custoday.
Officials said Johnson fired rounds from a handgun at Tremiyah’s mother during the incident the ran away from 5308 Steuben Drive in Memphis.
Tremiyah was described as a black 3-year-old girl, 3’ tall and 64 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, pink floral pants and white sandals and had multiple pony tails with pink pony-tail holders.
Johnson was described as a 23-year old black male, 6’2” tall and 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Officials said Johnson has a violent criminal history including Domestic Assault and Robbery. He was armed and should be considered dangerous.
