An AMBER Alert has been canceled after a missing 10-year-old girl was found safe in East Tennessee.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Yazmin Linares Medina was reported missing out of Cleveland.

Her mother told police that she had taken her children to walk at the Ocoee Middle Soccer Field between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. When the family returned home around 8 p.m., Arleth noticed she left the keys at the soccer field and went back to get them.

Her mother returned to the soccer field to look for her when she did not return home by 8:40 p.m. An AMBER Alert was later issued.

The TBI tweeted shortly before noon Friday that she had been found safe near the search area. No additional details were released.
