Wilson County officers rescued several animals they determined were living in "deplorable conditions" in Lebanon.

Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Franklin Road Thursday morning.

When they arrived, they found two women and a young child at the home. The women have been identified as 33-year-old Ashley Norma Stevens and 34-year-old Ashley Nicole Maness.

Wilson County Animal Control officers seized 30 dogs, a cat, and a medium-sized pig.

Both women have now been facing charges of domestic violence and reckless endangerment. Animal cruelty charges were pending.

The Department of Children’s Services has taken the child into custody.

Animal Control has also been accepting donations at their facility. For anyone who would like to help, items such as food, treats, toys, and other supplies can be taken to 1017 Sparta Pike in Lebanon.
