Birds, monkeys, snakes and dozens of other animals took over the Nashville Fairgrounds for the Exotic Pet Expo.
The Nashville Exotic Pet Club puts on the event each year. Visitors had a chance to check out over 100 vendors featuring a wide range of exotic pets that are legal to own in Tennessee.
Organizers say the main goal of the expo is to educate people about owning exotics.
"We want them to come and learn about, research all these animals. We want them to have a lifetime happy home," said Mr. Brendan, President of Nashville Exotic Pet Club.
The expo also serves as a fundraiser for the Nashville Exotic Pet Club.
