For the second time this week, a scooter rider has been struck by a vehicle in downtown Nashville.
The incident happened at 11:40 a.m. while the rider was traveling east on Church Street.
A car was pulling out of a parking lot and hit a Bird scooter. No serious injuries were reported.
It’s unclear at this time if citations will be issued.
On Monday, Metro police released video of a scooter rider being struck in downtown. In that case, police said the rider failed to yield to a car.
This comes as NewsChannel 5 has uncovered that the city has fielded around 200 complaints since the city approved the scooters on Nashville streets.
