NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police are asking for the community's help in identifying a man suspected in as many as four armed robberies targeting dollar stores in the past month.
Early Friday morning, detectives with the North Precinct released surveillance images from the most recent robbery at the Family Dollar Store on Jefferson Street. It happened on October 16th.
The same person may be responsible for three other robberies across Nashville, police said. They include:
- September 26th: Dollar General on Old Hickory Blvd. in Bellevue
- October 1st: Dollar General on Stewarts Ferry Pike in Hermitage
- October 2nd: dollar General on Charlotte Pike in West Nashville
Detectives said in the most recent robbery, the gunman was wearing a distinct red sweatshirt with the word "Savage" written all over it. He also wore black pants with a red stripe down the side, the same pair of pants that police believe he wore in two of the other robberies.
Investigators hope someone will recognize the man's distinct clothing and call in a tip. You can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (615) 74-CRIME. You could be eligible for a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest and conviction.
