A victim was allegedly robbed at gunpoint after agreeing to meet a buyer from the Letgo app.

Reports stated the victim agreed to meet the buyer at the Phillips 66 on Maxey Road in Cedar Hill on Sunday to sell video equipment.

The buyer was later identified as Marlon William Cotham, of Nashville.

When the victim met with Cotham, he and another unknown suspect reportedly robbed the victim of the equipment at gunpoint.

Cotham fled from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Active warrants were filed charging Cotham with aggravated robbery and theft over $1,000. On Wednesday, authorities confirmed Cotham turned himself in to the Robertson County Detention Facility.

Officials said they believe the location of the crime was used as a meeting place only since Cotham came from Nashville and the victim was from Clarksville.

The location was the scene of a homicide days prior to the armed robbery when a former Tennessee State University officer was killed.
