An arson investigation has gotten underway in Cheatham County after a vacant home caught fire.
The call came in around 4 a.m. Thursday at a house on Heatherwood Road in Pleasant View.
Officials on the scene said the home had been vacant for about a year and did not have electricity.
When crews arrived, the home was fully involved and later burned to ground.
Authorities said it’s being investigated as suspicious.
