NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Arson investigators with the Nashville Fire Department are asking the public for help finding the person or people responsible for a fire set inside of a duplex in North Nashville on Tuesday.

Dispatchers received a 911 call just after 4:10 am informing them that a duplex was on fire at 3116 Brickdale Lane Unit “B.”

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found the residents of Unit “A” already outside of their part of the duplex. The “B” side where the fire was coming from was then searched and found no one inside.

Investigators then arrived on scene and learned the “B” Unit had been vacant for the past few months. However, inside the home they found evidence of multiple intentionally set fires.

Anyone with information about those potentially connected to this fire to call the NFD Arson Hotline at 615-862-5640.

All calls to the line are confidential. Additionally a cash award of up to $5,000 could be earned for information that leads to an arrest.
