NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Authorities have asked the public’s help in identifying an accused arsonist who was captured on surveillance video firebombing a Nashville building.
Investigators from the Nashville Fire Department said the incident occurred at a vacant business on Lafayette Street early Thursday morning.
A man wearing what appeared to be a matching blue shirt and shorts walked up to the building, lit a Molotov cocktail and hurled it on top of the building. He was seen on surveillance video at 12:36 a.m.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and were able to put out the blaze. The building was not significantly damaged.
No one was hurt.
