Singers, songwriters and musicians were honored at the ACM honors in downtown Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium.
Before the show started, celebrities walked the ACM blue carpet.
Grammy Award winner, Maren Morris, said, Wednesday night's show "is the one night of the year we get to honor a lot of amazing musicians and some incredible icons that have paved the way for new artists like me to make music."
One of those icons is Glen Campbell. Morris had the chance to perform his song "Galveston."
"It's one of my favorite Glen Campbell songs and I think just the weight of being able to sing it in front of his family and Jimmy Web who wrote the song decades ago. I mean it's just one of my favorites and it's a bittersweet moment to honor him because we obviously lost him too soon," she said.
The show was recorded and is set to air on CBS on Sept. 15.
