An assault charge has been dismissed against former Tennessee Titan Michael Oher following an incident involving an Uber driver.

Oher did not appear in court Tuesday. However, the District Attorney's Office confirmed the driver agreed to dismiss the charges through his attorney.

Police said the incident happened on April 14 in Nashville when Oher and four other people met their ride-share driver to go to a downtown restaurant.

Oher was accused of assaulting an Uber driver in a dispute over the price.

Oher, who played for the Titans in 2014, was the inspiration for the book and film, “The Blind Side.”
