NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say they’re searching for a gunman after a delivery driver was shot outside a Nashville Walgreens.
The incident happened shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday at the location at 2244 Murfreesboro Pike.
Metro Nashville police say the driver, who was there to deliver medication, was shot during an altercation with the suspect. Detectives are interviewing him at the hospital.
The shooter ran away through a parking lot behind the building. Police said he was wearing a black hoodie with yellow writing and dark jogging pants with a gold stripe down the legs. He’s described as being 5’6” tall and is possibly homeless.

Walgreens officials released the following statement in response the the shooting:
"We are cooperating with police in their investigation and refer you them for any information on the incident."
