MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — A search has gotten underway in Mt. Juliet after an attempted carjacking.
The incident was reported around 6 a.m. Friday at the Creekside Apartments on Providence Parkway.
Mt. Juliet police said the victim was sitting in his SUV, waiting for it to warm up, when two suspects approached him and tried to steal the vehicle.
Typically, when car jackings have occurred in our community in the past, a disabled stolen car is always located nearby. The suspects now need a way back home, which likely requires them to steal another car. https://t.co/3m1PiY7f5W
