The manhunt for a wanted attempted murder suspect has heated up in Nashville after being spotted.
Tommie Bowie, 26, is wanted for allegedly attacking his girlfriend.
A police helicopter spotted Bowie riding in a car Tuesday afternoon near Briley and McGavock Parkway.
Unfortunately, Bowie managed to escape before officers arrived.
Investigators said the 26-year-old physically assaulted his girlfriend during an argument over the weekend and fired a gun at her.
Even though she was not hit, Bowie is wanted for attempted murder.
Anyone with information on him or who may see him was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
