Attorney Arrested For DUI, Cited For Drugs

A local attorney, also reported to be the president of the Davidson County Drug Court Foundation, has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and cited for having a small amount of marijuana.

Reports stated 64-year-old David Lynn King was pulled over by officials with the Millersville Police Department near his home in Greenbrier on South Mount Pleasant Road around 10:15 p.m. Monday.

According to authorities, King was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

He was also issued citations for simple possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Officials said King was out on bond.
