Evening and night classes at Austin Peay State University were canceled due to a vehicle accident at the corner of Eighth Street and College Street.
Officials released a statement saying most of campus was without power.

Crews have begun working to restore power on campus, leaving some buildings to run on generators in the meantime.
The remainder of the day and evening classes were canceled for Thursday, March 31.
Officials asked everyone to use caution when navigating campus and avoid any downed lines. If you see lines that are down, please call campus police at 931-221-7786 or 911.
