MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public’s help in identifying skeletal remains found last month.
The sheriff’s office tweeted Friday that the remains of a woman were found in July off Mt. Herman Road.

She is about 20-35 years old and between 5'-4" and 5'-10" tall.

Investigators believe the remains are that of a Black woman, about 20-35 years old, and between 5'4" and 5'10" tall. A cause of death is still pending.
The sheriff's office says so far, missing person reports in the area have failed to provide any possible identification.
