Authorities Seek To ID Sexual Assault Suspects

Authorities in Bedford County have asked the public’s help in identifying two suspects in a sexual assault case. 

Sheriff's officials said a woman was sexually assaulted around 2 p.m. on March 20 in an area of Highway 82 South, near a bridge along the Duck River. 

They said a silver or gray SUV was seen parked near the scene, as well as an aluminum flat bottom boat.

One suspect was described as being a Hispanic male between the ages of 35-45. He’s approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall and has very short, black hair. He also has a mole on his cheek. 

The other suspect was said to be a Hispanic male, between 20-30, and is approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall, with short, black hair.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s forensic imaging specialist created a composite sketch of the two suspects.
