Autistic child missing in Columbia found safe

The TBI and Columbia Police shared that Jaydin Lee Phillips has been found safe.

Columbia Police and others are searching for a missing autistic child.

Officials say Jaydin Lee Phillips, 11, ran into the woods outside the Dollar General on Bear Creek Pike Sunday afternoon. No one has been able to find him.

Phillips has high-functioning autism.

The TBI has issued a statewide endangered child alert with the search.

Phillips was last seen wearing a brown carhartt jacket over a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, and brown cowboy boots. He is around 4 feet tall.
