Avoid the summer learning slump by reading to cats waiting for adoption

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Animal Care and Control is putting on a Kitten Reading Club this summer to help families avoid the summer reading slump.

Kids will read to cats waiting to be adopted at the shelter for 20 minutes on select Saturdays throughout the summer. MACC is partnering with Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee for the new program.
