NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Someone could be praying for you right now -- and you may not even know it!

It's part of a massive effort started by a Nashville church, to reach hundreds of thousands of people in middle Tennessee this month.

Aaron Etheridge is part of Ethos Church, which started "Awaken Nashville," a movement that mailboxes all around middle tennessee will see.

Members of the 400 participating churches have handed out packets -- including public contact info for 15 random strangers apiece.

Those names and addresses go on post cards with a note of prayer written on each one, even though, they don't know who they're writing to.

"You see people differently, the person at the street corner, the person that just cut you off in traffic, they could be on your list that you're praying for," said Kevin Queen with Crosspoint church.

The goal is to send out potentially hundreds of thousands of postcards.
