WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. – A shopper at the White House Walmart discovered a baby left in a hot car and called police.
Police were able to rescue the 7-month-old. They say the baby was sweating, had a soiled diaper and was hungry.
While officers went inside the store to get baby formula and a new diaper they found the mother inside shoplifting.
The mom, 19-year-old Scotty Eggers ,is now in custody and behind bars.
The child has been placed the custody of the Department of Children Services.
