Belmont University has opened its own vintage guitar museum on campus.
The Gallery of Iconic Guitars (GIG) opened Tuesday morning. It houses more than 500 vintage Martin, Fender, and Gibson guitars and mandolins.
The instruments line the walls adding up to more than $10 million worth, but they're not just for display, you can play them too.
"These instruments that are the real thing, they cant be found anywhere else all of these instruments have an experience that only those instruments have had and you have to come here to be a part of it," said Ralph Schulz.
All of the instruments were donated by the late Steven Kern Shaw.
The museum is located on the first floor of the Bunch Library.
