NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Big Kenny of the country duo Big & Rich has created his own line of gourmet peanuts.
"Deliciously crunchy, hand-cooked gourmet. If you taste them one time, you're gonna come back for more."
He recently launched the peanut line, Peace Love & Happy Hour Premium Virginia Peanuts, to celebrate his Virginia heritage and his family's farming background.
"My father and I, when I was a kid, he would cook them and we would always love the crunchiest ones on the outside - the edge of the pan because they tasted so good, and I just wanted to make sure that everybody else got to experience something that I've known and loved for forever," he said.
A portion of the proceeds from the peanuts go to fighting child hunger. You can find the peanuts on his website.
