NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A biker was killed in a crash in North Nashville Monday afternoon.
The crash happened near Buchanan Street and 16th Avenue between a motorcycle and vehicle, according to Metro Nashville Police officials.
Christopher Crowder, 34, of Nashville, died shortly after being taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Police say Crowder was traveling east on Buchanan Street on a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle when 57-year-old Tracy Humphreys, driving a 2011 Nissan Tundra pickup truck, pulled onto the street from a parking lot and hit the motorcycle.
Humphreys was charged with failure to yield the right of way resulting in death.
