The BMI Country Music Awards took place on Tuesday night, celebrating the top Country songwriters, publishers, and artists of the past year.
Nashville songwriter Ross Copperman was honored as the BMI Songwriter of the Year after writing 13 #1 hits, and Kenny Chesney was honored with the BMI President's Award.
The night was filled with performances from some of Country's biggest acts. Both Keith Urban and Eric Church took the stage to honor Kenny Chesney for his prestigious award.
Other artists in attendance included Chris Young, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Cole Swindell, and Brett Eldredge.
The BMI Awards are the oldest awards ceremony saluting Country music's top songwriters and BMI represents the public performance rights in nearly 12 million musical works created and owned by more than 750,000 songwriters, composers, and music publishers.
