Three boaters had to be rescued after they ran into some problems on Percy Priest Lake early Wednesday morning.
Metro Nashville Fire Department was called to the area of Smith Spring Dock at about midnight.
Three men went out on a fishing boat and reported they had no control of their boat and their cell phone batteries had died.
Fire crews sent a boat out onto the water to search, and the Metro Nashville Police Department assisted by sending its helicopter up.
The men were located at about 1:45a.m. and were not hurt.
