Zach Adams' grandfather, Dick Adams, has now taken the stand.

The first witness called to the stand was former Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agent Terry Dicus, who recalled Zach Adams' name coming up the first week of the investigation.

At one point, Dicus said he determined that Zach Adams could not have been involved in the kidnapping.

Back in 2013, Dicus got pulled off the Bobo case by the TBI. He resigned that same year.

This signals the beginning of the end of the high-profile murder trial of the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Holly Bobo.

Prosecutors wrapped up their case Monday with a parade of witnesses, most of whom are criminals.

All of them detailed conversations they had with Adams after Holly went missing, that included two different men who told jurors Zach wanted them to deliver a message to his brother, Dylan, in jail.

“He said it was his brother, if he don't [sic] keep his mouth shut I'll put her in a hole beside her," said Shawn Cooper, who spent time with Zach Adams in jail.
