The Medical Examiner’s Office identified a body found last week in Marion County as missing man Charles Pitts Jr.
Pitts' body was found last Thursday in Nickajack Lake in Marion County. The identification was made through dental records.
Pitts who was 27 years old, was last seen on Dec. 5 at his Paige Circle residence.
He quit his job prior to his disappearance and was reported to have had depression issues. Pitts’ Dodge Charger was found near the lake.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office was conducting the death investigation. There was no immediate indication of foul play.
