Police in Nashville have been working to discover how a man ended up outside a home with a gunshot wound to his head.
Someone called police around 8 a.m. Saturday after seeing the body near 26th Avenue North and Alameda Street, just a few feet away from Pearl Cohn High School.
The man, identified as 20-year-old Charlie Brown, Jr., was found dead in a grassy area next to a home at the foot of a pedestrian bridge that crosses over Interstate 40.
The motive behind Brown's murder was unknown. The investigation remained ongoing. Anyone with information has been urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
