CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WTVF) — The body of a missing man was found in Chattanooga. Murfreesboro Police officials say the body of Michael Wigfall was found in a parked vehicle on McCutcheon Road in Chattanooga.

Police were searching for Wigfall in the mid-state area after he went missing in late January. He was last seen Jan. 20 heading toward his Chattanooga home. His mother, Tawana Corder, lives in Murfreesboro, and he was thought to have possibly been in the area.

Police officials said the vehicle he was found in, had been there since Jan. 22 and his death does not to be the result of a violent or intentional act by another.

Wigfall suffered from Schizophrenia. Michaels family in Chattanooga said his symptoms returned and he was once again talking to himself.
