The body of a missing elderly woman has been located in the Cumberland River in Nashville.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said they received a call about a missing person overnight Monday.
The victim’s car was later found parked near Cement Plant Road and 2nd Avenue.
Officers located her body submerged in the water, about 10-15 feet off the bank.
At this time, police said foul play was not suspected.
