Bedford County offices and a bank have reopened after a possible bomb threat.

Details of the threat Friday morning were unknown. Initial reports stated the threat was at the courthouse; however, authorities confirmed the threat was at U.S. Bank located at 100 Public Square North in Shelbyville where the Bedford County Clerk's office can also be found.

Bedford County Clerk Donna Thomas confirmed on social media that the building had been evacuated and they were awaiting the “all clear.” Shortly after noon, Thomas confirmed they were "open and ready for business."

Further details were not known as the investigation remained ongoing.
