Bookkeeper Charged In $3M Theft, Forgery Case

A Lincoln County woman has been charged for allegedly using her job to steal more than $3 million over the past nine years.

Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation found that 47-year-old Valorie Bradley, a bookkeeper for Palatec Manufacturing in Lincoln County, diverted money from the company to her own accounts.

She was out on bond, but was charged with four counts of Theft above $250,000, four counts of Forgery, and one count of Money Laundering.
