A boy was hit by a vehicle in Gallatin after getting off a school bus.
Officials with the Gallatin Police Department said as the school bus drove away, the child was hit when he crossed the street.
It happened at North Water Avenue and Gallatin Pike Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
The boy was transported to Sumner Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the Vehicle remained at the scene, and the incident was ruled unavoidable.
The child's age was unknown.
