Brentwood firefighters worked to get a house fire under control on Choctaw Trail.
The fire broke out at the home at 1304 Choctaw Trail Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to get the flames under control.
However, officials asked people to avoid the 1300 block of Choctaw Trail because the road was blocked by fire crews. They said it should reopen Monday evening.
It was unclear how much of the home was damaged or how it began.
