Bridgestone Americas opened Nashville's newest skyscraper with a special announcement for the Nashville Predators.

Mayor Barry, Governor Haslam, and Bridgestone executives cut the ribbon for the new 30-story Bridgestone Tower Wednesday.

The $200 million building brought together five of the company's major businesses for the first time to make one Bridgestone culture, but it wasn't easy.

Bridgestone had to empty three offices in Chicago, Indianapolis and Nashville, and move 1,700 employees in 90 days.
