Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department have asked for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect that stole from the same store three different times.
Detectives said the man burglarized the Food Lion at 936 Richards Road on June 23, July 1, and July 3.
In all three cases, the suspect entered the store during business hours and then hid as the store closed, avoiding detection.
Police said he stole cigarettes during the July 3rd and June 23rdincidents. The June 23rd burglary was not detected until a week later. On July 1st, he appeared to be casing the store, looking at the cash registers and entering the office area.
The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s or 40s with a mustache and possibly a goatee.
He is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He wore clothing consistent with someone who may work in a restaurant kitchen. He wore a purple apron on top of his head during the June 23rd burglary.
