NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More than 150 counterfeit hats were seized during a raid at a Nashville-area business.
Police said an investigation into the sale of counterfeit New Era brand sports hats led to Thursday’s raid at AA Mart in the 2700 block of Whites Creek Pike.
The possible counterfeit merchandise was reported to police by a representative of the company who investigates counterfeiting.
Authorities said more than 150 hats were seized as well as a large amount of change.
Detectives said they were able to buy counterfeit hats twice from the store while undercover.
According to officials, no arrests were made Thursday. Authorities said evidence was set to be presented to the Davidson County Grand Jury at a later date.
