NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A child was hit by a car in East Nashville Monday night.
Dispatchers said an 11-year-old was transported to the hospital.
It happened just before 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of Eastland Avenue and Cleveland St.
Police said the driver was not at fault and will not face any charges.
Dispatchers said the child suffered minor injuries to his shoulder.
