ADAMS, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Robertson County woman was arrested and charged with murder in the 2019 death of a 62-year-old woman.

On Friday morning, Robertson County deputies arrested 73-year-old Eulah Faye Gerecht on charges of first degree murder, aggravated elderly neglect and TennCare fraud.

Officials say she killed Floyd Dean "Dena" Swift in Adams, Tennessee in August of 2019. Autopsy results ruled Swift's death a homicide showing her cause of death as malnutrition and dehydration. Gerecht was Swift’s primary care giver for many years.

The case was presented to the Robertson County Grand Jury after which Gerecht was indicted on the above charges.
