NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) — Carrie Underwood needs to make more room on her shelf for her CMT Music Awards.
Already holding the record for most wins, Underwood won her 21st award on Wednesday night for female video of the year. Underwood is up for the top fan-voted prize, video of the year, competing against Keith Urban and Tanya Tucker.
Instead of a live audience in an arena, the performances were shot in scenic outdoor locations around Nashville, Tennessee, because of the coronavirus pandemic. CMT added a new quarantine video category for country artists who got creative with music videos and songs during the pandemic.
