NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A judge has bound the case against a man accused of killing a fellow Tennessee State University student over to a grand jury.
George Wells Jr. appeared in court Tuesday on a charge of reckless homicide. He’s accused of killing 19-year-old Rickey Scott, a fellow TSU student, in the Watson dormitory.

Police said when Wells came in for questioning, he admitted to bringing "what he believed to be a pellet gun" to campus with him on Sunday. He and Scott were in a dorm room when the gun fired at Scott, police said.
Scott was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
